All JK Diploma Engineers Association calls on Dy CM | KNO

A deputation of All Jammu and Kashmir Diploma Engineers Association lead by its President Syed Afaq Chisti today called on the Deputy Chief Minister Dr Nirmal Singh. The deputation highlighted several issues like career progression of diploma engineers, non-implementation of the recommendations of 2010 High powered Establishment cum Selection Committee, non-adoption of Punjab pattern career progression of the diploma engineers, maintenance of cadre strength at all levels as per 20 percent quota in all wings and also enhancement of Fixed Travel Allowance (FTA) from Rs 30 to 3000 per month. They also hailed the recent initiative of promoting diploma engineers in the Power Development Department. The Deputy Chief Minister while interacting with the deputation assured them that all their genuine grievances would be redressed in a time bound manner by taking up them with the concerned departments and also establishing a committee to evolve a necessary mechanism for to solve all the related career issues.
